Matt Battle is a ridiculously talented artist and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles. He used to play drums for the well-known psychedelic-soul outfit Chicano Batman, and during that time, he was also quietly concocting some tunes of his own. Then, last year, he unleashed Mercy Memory, the debut album from his new solo project Mad Bad World. Fusing his love for psychedelic sounds with earlier influences like punk and alternative rock, Matt has delivered a ten-track stunner of epic proportions.
