Hindsight in Harmony: Elise’s Remember Is a Soulful Comeback

Personally, there's nothing that indicates the rapid passage of time quite like music. When I think an album probably came out five years ago, it turns out it's usually closer to ten. Such has been the case with Kilkenny-based singer/songwriter Elise and her soul-stirringly poetic tune Ragdoll. It's on most of my playlists, so it's a track I still hear often, but I was shocked to see it came out in 2021! Time moves fast my friends…But after years of radio silence, Elise is finally back with Remember.

Having spent time experimenting and perfecting her sound, Elise's brand new offering showcases a matured refinement. It's full of depth and soul, just how I remember her, but it's also a striking evolution that proves she’s stepped into a whole new sonic era - and a highly exciting one at that.

"Remember is a song about that wonderful human phenomenon - hindsight," says the artist. "Looking back over past events and certain situations you always think 'I should have done this instead' or 'I could have done that better'. Why does it feel so obvious afterwards?"

I'm over the moon Elise is back out there making music, and I can't wait to hear what she offers up next!
