Turn It Up: Blue Orchid Reaction’s Latest Single Walking In The Heaven is Built for Maximum Volume

Walking In The Heaven is unquestionably one of the catchiest tunes of the year so far…so let's just start with that. Brought forward by Leeds-based alternative rockers Blue Orchid Reaction, it's a track that really showcases the band's signature sound: energetic, colourful, and highly anthemic. It's also infused with the perfect amount of grit and punk attitude - ensuring it successfully hits with both raw power and undeniable charm.

Serving as the sixth single from a batch of songs that saw Blue Orchid Reaction working alongside legendary Embrace drummer Mike Heaton, Walking In The Heaven is the type of tune that begs to be played at full volume.

Lyrically, the outfit says the track is about "working, living, and breathing in someone else's idea of heaven - which could also be a form of hell". As they say, the subject matter might be heavy, but the melody transforms existential musings into a full-throttle rock ‘n’ roll celebration.

Inspired by the likes of David Bowie, The Black Keys, Jack White, The Cure, and Blur, Blue Orchid Reaction have concocted a unique sound of their own, and one I'm certain will resonate with the masses!
