Tom Minor Strikes Again with the Eclectic, Funky Energy of Expanding Universe

I'm not sure where to even begin when it comes to the work of Tom Minor. Based in London, the singer/songwriter burst onto my sonic radar in 2023, and I've been a firm fan ever since. One's never too sure what to expect with each new tune Tom delivers, and personally, that's a big part of the appeal surrounding his music.

Expanding Universe is the artist's brand new offering, but it's a track Minor has actually been sitting on for a couple of moons. Teaming up with The Creatures Of Habit, Expanding Universe is a rich and funky little number that once again showcases Tom's wonderful unpredictability. A masterful fusion of indie rock, power pop, and a pinch of new wave vibes thrown in for good measure, Tom's latest release straddles genres with the greatest of ease.

Thematically, Expanding Universe explores how the future catches up with us, and although it was penned a while ago, it couldn't be more relevant in today's world.

As Minor explains, "When all manner of global bullies, including but not limited to the big tech bullies, are selling us short down the live stream daily…we are rushing to pay them for it". How did this happen, you ask? Well, Tom Minor thinks he just might have the answer.
