DE JAVU Sees Proklaim Refine His Sound and Sharpen His Message

Trying to keep up with the musical output of Namibian artist and rapper Proklaim is an exercise in futility, but with each new release, he somehow seems to raise the bar. Having paid close attention to his musical career for a few years now, one thing is certain, Birungi Alexander Kiremire is a musician who turns every track into a statement of artistic growth.

From SCARS and PROMISED LAND to BIENVENIDOS and LSD, Proklaim's music has recently been a constant in my life. It's been amazing witnessing his sonic evolution and relentless work ethic, both of which have returned in the form of DE JAVU, Birungi's latest single.

A slow joint that focuses more on lyrical poetry over traditional cadence, DE JAVU trades the bells and whistles in favour of a more stripped-back and intimate approach. It's a tune that unfolds like a confession, as Proklaim reaffirms his storytelling prowess yet again.

Recorded at Pen Pushaz Studio, DE JAVU is another track Birungi can proudly add to his enormous discography. I'm running out of adjectives to describe just how good a musician Proklaim truly is, and he's an artist I'll never tire of championing!
