Raw, Loud, and Unapologetic: River Fury’s Liquor Is a Pop-Punk Powerhouse

Raw and gritty and full of passion, Liquor is the explosive new single from London-based outfit River Fury. A supercharged and gutsy banger, it's a tune the band members assembled separately, before heading to Squarehead Studios for a final, thunderous polish.

Capturing the essence of a person grappling with the challenges of modern life, particularly during the pandemic, Liquor was penned by Dan Howe, River Fury's co-founder. "It's kind of about a person who is struggling with the doomscrolling and booze rut," says fellow band member Patric Nutton.

A pop-punk track that harks back to the mid-90s, house parties, and booze-fuelled nights, Liquor crashes in with unfiltered intensity and pure adrenaline. It's a cathartic release of epic proportions, and I can't wait to see what else this outfit has up its sleeve going forward.

Also, the act recently decided it was time to play some live shows, so keep a close eye on their socials for dates. I reckon they're an outfit that put on a pretty special live performance!
