Indie Rock with Bite - Little Wasters Unleash Their Debut Album WASTELIFE

At the end of last year, a little indie rock band from Camden Town burst onto my sonic radar with a heartfelt and anthemic tune called I Want You (For Someone). The act in question was Little Wasters, a four-piece outfit who, in my humble opinion, just get it! With their blend of infectious and soaring energy, they channel the heart of classic indie rock while making it entirely their own.

WASTELIFE is the band's debut album, and one I've been looking forward to for some time. Released just a few hours ago, the eleven-track offering is the perfect fusion of grit, melody, and raw emotion.

From the record's bouncy and inviting opener Heat to the pulsating grooves of Beachside Hotel and the synth-filled masterpiece that is Eat/Sleep/Work/Breathe, Little Wasters prove they’re just as comfortable crafting earworms as they are pulling at heartstrings.

Other personal favourites from WASTELIFE include the ridiculously exhilarating My Last Holiday and the barnstorming gem She Doesn't Want You Anymore. The truth is, however, every song on the album plays a crucial role in the bigger picture; a picture that makes it clear that this debut isn’t just a statement, it's a warning shot. Simply superb!
