John Kolar Prepares for a Genre-Bending Debut Album with the Blissful Tie My Shoes

Hailing from the hills of Morgantown, West Virginia, John Kolar is an up-and-coming indie singer/songwriter with a love for rock, pop, country, and jazz. Two months ago, he unleashed his debut single pouco a pouco, and recently followed that up with an intoxicating little number called Tie My Shoes which I've fallen completely in love with.

A mellow and laid-back tune driven by a quiet electric guitar and John's hauntingly warm and inviting vocals, Tie My Shoes puts listeners in a state of dreamy bliss. It's hypnotic and floaty, and before you know it, four minutes have gently passed you by like a slow dance you didn’t realise you were swaying to.

The track will form part of Kolar's debut album scheduled for release in November, but don't despair about the long wait, as he plans on releasing a new song each month until then. In fact, his brand new offering Skipping Stones will be out tomorrow! 

Promising a genre-bending collection of catchy melodies and smooth harmonies, John's debut record is one I'm really looking forward to hearing. And, if Tie My Shoes is anything to go by, we're in for a real sonic treat!
