Get Hooked on a little place called Aspen’s Cleverly Crafted Debut Back from the Dead
Founded in 2022 by five friends with a shared vision of creating an alternative pop "boy band," Toronto-based act a little place called Aspen craft bright and infectious tunes that stick in listeners' heads.
Take Back from the Dead, for example, the outfit's first official single and Stephen King-inspired banger. Sure, not many think Stephen King and upbeat pop, but I guess that's the genius of the band. Ridiculously catchy, highly immersive, and brimming with sonic positivity, Back from the Dead turns horror-inspired storytelling into an anthem you can’t help but sing along to.
Influenced by artists and bands like Landon Conrath, Bad Suns, Fly By Midnight, and Jonas Brothers, each member of a little place called Aspen contributes instrumentally and vocally. That's pretty unique these days, and I think it’s a big part of what makes their music feel so "alive" and collaborative.
With plans to drop new music monthly throughout this year and into 2026, be on the lookout for more infectious and buoyant new tracks from this hugely gifted act.
